Some achievements have rewards that can be claimed once completed. While all of the above may sound daunting (since you are attacking a warchief and all of his bodyguards in the middle of a stronghold without support), always remember that fire arrows on explosives devastate even the most dangerous orcs, and can generally kill (or at least knock into the Battle-Hardened surrender state) a Hunter or Archer with full health if you allow the DoT effect to keep working on them.Īs a bonus, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of orcs fear or hate fire.Achievements can be accomplished after completing a specific goal. This minimizes the amount of time you spend actually getting to the part where you can actually kill said warchief, and eliminates any risk to any Captains or Warchiefs you may have taken a liking to (since you don't need them to do a betrayal, since that will ruin the farming, and you don't want to do a Riot). Prioritize this one, and kill him (ideally after having died to him, or triggered a fear/hate effect, or both if you want the prestige of a level 26 rune, which is mechanically identical to a level 25 rune.)Ĭontinue with the surviving bodyguards who haven't had a chance to flee yet. Once the warchief is dead, one of his bodyguards will become the new warchief. (since knowing weaknesses is +1, Warchief is +2, and Death Threat is +1, you only need one further bonus to hit 25, and once you have all the epic runes, that functionally guarantees a level 25 drop). Kill the warchief first, taking care to either die to him or trigger a fear/hate effect. On the assumption that you Death Threat every Captain or Warchief you see, do the following: The easiest way to mass farm runes is to pick an enemy warchief, ideally one with several bodyguards. That said, there are a limited number of rune types for each of the 3 weapons, and you can't get multiple copies of the same Epic Rune. There is actually a limit I believe you can hold around 100 total runes before you can no longer pick up any further runes. That way, you'll gradually increase the chances of acquiring a level 25 rune over an Epic one. So, I suggest hanging on to all of your Epic Runes instead of converting them into Mirian. Furthermore, defeated Nemeses (the collective term for captains and warchiefs) won't drop Epic Runes that you already have. Ursprünglich geschrieben von BlakLite:As far as I can tell, there's no limit to how many Runes you can hold at one time.
